Kids Summer Reading 2019

Summer reading information for preschoolers and Kindergarten-5th Grade

How it works:

Kindergarten – 5th grade

It’s simple—just keep track of everything you read!

Whether it’s ebooks, books, magazines, newspapers, etc., they all count towards your reading!

All items must be age/reading-level appropriate and be checked out through the Jasper County Public Library (including online items from OverDrive or Tumblebooks)!

Sign up at the library and get a booklet to log what you’ve read—every 20 minutes earns you one drawing entry for the grand prizes (given away at Party).

Every week, after completing (7) 20 minute sessions, you will get a prize.

You can receive additional prize slips with Suggested Readings too! (Playaway/audiobook, Playaway View, award winner, bio/non-fic., graphic novel, and magazine)

There are also weekly entertainment and craft programs, so be sure to make time for those!

Preschoolers 2-5 years old

Check out our Prereader Bingo sheets for activities you can complete to enter into the grand prize drawing.
